Thinking on God - Who is God?

THINKING ON GOD

Like every person who wondered, of course I was pondering questions such as what kind of being God is, where she is, what her purpose is. The culture I grew up and the religious education I received had answers to these questions; but over time I went one step beyond being curious and became 'questioning'. I pondered to find answers to my own questions with my own means.

Finally, I was able to take a pen and convey the thought that I had gathered in my mind on paper in a certain order. I myself have formulated the problem of God's existence:

“In the universe we live in, there is no sign of curiosity, research or questioning about 'God' in any being except human.

-> First possibility: all beings have knowledge that we are striving to know.

-> Or they have no information.

If they have no knowledge, man is different from other beings in these ways:

-> Man was specially created to unravel the mysteries of the universe.

-> Or man has been concerned about the secrets of the universe.

As a result, it is a fact that non-human beings can survive in a healthy way without the question, fact, or idea of God. In that case:

-> The idea of God is specifically necessary for human health - integrity.

-> Or all these inquiries and the results we have reached,

By-products of our abstract thinking ability that we cannot restrain”

As a result of my own questioning of God summarized in this way, I tried to think of all the possibilities that might answer my questions. I have read on Atheism, Deism, Pantheism and Eastern religions. I even collected information on Native American Religions.

What I see is that religions that position people above nature and put burdens that people cannot bear on their shoulders fuel conflicts and hatred much more. I thought that religions are built on human emotions.

In order to keep the sense of ‘hope’ alive, figures for the future such as 'messiah', 'mahdi' were created. Religion has also processed the our vital emotions such ‘fear’ very well.. Religions that frighten people with punishment and that tell about places where there will be terrible torment like hell have been much more successful than other religions. These religions often subjected people who were not afraid of the threat of hell to various tortures in the world and even punished them with death.

The God characters revealed by the religions were also different accordingly. While the god of some does everything arbitrarily, the perfect creator determines the destiny of man; I saw that some beliefs do not even include the idea of God.

Long story short; As I pondered on God, I ruled out all oppressive and judgmental beliefs in the name of God. Religions where a single person receives revelation, where everything is indexed to a single book, that is not open to change and threatens with hell, dulls one's inner strength, love of God. People who obey religious authorities, who lose their ability to think and question freely, who cannot distinguish between good and bad with their own mind, who become a 'slave'; Can he be regarded as 'virtuous' no matter how many rules he followed? I answered "no" to this question.

The result of my inquiry was as follows; Human has the power to 'create' figures like God thanks to his developed brain and mental ability.
